A Little About Us

The Moffett Road Baptist Church Child Development Center (or CDC) has long served the Mobile community by providing quality childcare for families. The CDC is one of the longest-running childcare centers in the area, having opened its doors in 1985. We understand that these early years are some of the most important of a child’s life, and we are committed to providing high-quality care to all those entrusted to us.

The Moffett Road Baptist Child Development Center seeks to provide a Christ-honoring, loving, and safe environment for children to grow up and learn in. We desire to prepare our students to excel in the next stage of life in an orderly environment that is encouraging and fun for the children.

Christ-Honoring
The CDC is, first and foremost, and ministry of Moffett Road Baptist Church, and because of this, we seek to do everything for the glory of God. Our students receive regular bible lessons, memorize scripture, and learn songs that teach them about God. We seek to teach big truths to our students and point them to Christ.

Loving
We ensure that each of our teachers is passionate about working with children. At the CDC, you will find that our teachers care about each child and want to see them succeed. We seek to keep each class small to ensure that each student receives enough attention from their teacher. Because of the positive environment, we have seen multiple families bring their children and grandchildren back to attend the CDC.

Safe
Your child’s safety is one of our top priorities, and our facilities reflect that. We maintain a secure facility; our classrooms can only be accessed with a security code unique to each parent, and exterior doors are locked most of the day. Our grounds are monitored via camera to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Cleanliness falls under safety, and our facilities are cleaned daily to ensure the healthiest environment for the kids entrusted to us.

About Our Facilities
We give glory to God for the facilities He has entrusted to us. Our facility has 17 classrooms, each laid out to be age appropriate for the class. We have four playgrounds and use the MRBC gym on rainy days. We have a full-service cafeteria that will reopen in the fall of 2023, providing lunch to students at no additional cost to the parent/guardian.
