Meet Our Director

Meredith King became our new CDC Director on August 1, 2022. She graduated from the University of Mobile and recently received her Master’s Degree from Auburn. Mrs. Meredith has taught music at UMS-Wright Preparatory School, Prichard Preparatory School, and Mary G. Montgomery High School, where she was the Choral Director. She also serves as the Children’s Directory for Moffett Road Baptist Church alongside her husband, Joel, the Worship Pastor. The Kings adopted their first child, Griffin, in the Fall of 2022. Mrs. King is excited to see the Child Development Center continue to serve the community by caring for its children, and she would love to meet with you to see how the CDC can help you and your children. 

Meet the Assistant Director 

Mrs. Deborah Jackson has been at the MRBC Child Development Center for twenty-two years. In her time at the CDC, she has taught toddlers, K2, K3, and K4. Mrs. Deborah is the afternoon supervisor for the CDC and a classroom teacher. She has a way of making everyone feel loved and welcomed. She and her husband, Brian, have been married since 2016. 

Meet the Office Manager

Mrs. Rachel Winslett has been employed at the CDC since 2001. She has taught every age level, from babies up to elementary. Mrs. Rachel is an animal lover; she has a dog named Bradley and two gerbils named Ozzie and Orlando. She is also an avid sports fan, rooting for the Atlanta Braves and the University of Alabama. As the office manager, Mrs. Rachel can help you with registering a student, handling payments, and account inquiries.
